CTRL #190
by Jeroen Broux

CTRL is a series of paintings by Jeroen Broux that reflects his search for control over form, colour and technique during his transition from digital design to painting on canvas.

His graphic sensibility is translated into clear lines and boundaries, subtle forms that are carefully balanced and interact with one another, and a restrained colour palette. Spontaneous brushstrokes contrast with sharp, controlled lines, perfectly expressing the sense of "CTRL" that Jeroen set out to explore—and ultimately found.
