Boso Ceramics

Vanessa Boso studied fashion and theatre costume design at the Antwerp Academy. Driven by her fascination with form, materials and craftsmanship, she has developed a ceramic practice ranging from functional objects for interior architects to autonomous wall pieces.

Her work is minimalist with a subtle brutalist character. Experimentation is central to her practice, exploring clay, glazes and natural influences. Pushing boundaries, collaborating with others and deliberately venturing beyond conventional ceramic practices fuel her ongoing search for new possibilities.

Each work is created as a unique piece. A creation is only complete when it finds its place and becomes part of its owner's everyday life.
