Charlotte Jonckheer

Charlotte Jonckheer is a Belgian designer and artist based in Antwerp. Her practice operates at the intersection of design, art and material research, with a particular fascination for paper and its potential as a raw material.

Charlotte developed her own innovative material, ‘Chaud Paper Composite’, made from paper waste sourced from a local print shop and stone dust. Through an intuitive and experimental design process, she transforms this material into functional and sculptural objects.

Charlotte's objects are produced as unique pieces or in limited editions, with a strong focus on materiality and craftsmanship.
